LLOYD ENDURES ROUGH WEEKEND...

JULY 19, 2010 - After several weeks off from racing action, the Ivedent Lloyd Racing team was back in competition in the states of Georgia and Florida from July 16-18. On Friday night, the Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia played host to a $5,300 to win Southern Nationals Series showdown. Unfortunately, Mother Nature stepped in during the qualifying session when Ivedent Lloyd was holding fast time honors. Following the rain-out, the #21 team headed back south to the North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Florida on Saturday evening for a $3,000 to win UDLMCS event. Ivedent finished third in heat race action, but was collected in a wreck during the feature and was scored with a nineteenth place effort.

In the weekend finale on Sunday at the Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia, the Southern Nationals Series once again sanctioned a $5,300 to win program. Ivedent paced the stout 33 car field during qualifying by touring the 1/2-mile oval in a mere 13.306 seconds. After rolling off from the pole position in the 53-lap feature event, the Ocala, Florida native was once again involved in an early wreck with Bub McCool and Austin Dillon. Ivedent's brand new racecar, which only had a total of 17 laps on it, was officially deemed as junked due to the incident and he was relegated to a very disappointing twenty-second place finish. JUNE 14, 2010 - The Ivedent Lloyd Racing team traveled to the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida on Saturday night, June 12 for a $1,000 to win regular weekly show. Ivedent Lloyd ran second in his heat race and later rolled off fifth on the grid in the A-Main.
